Screen printing
Screen printing is a very old printing technique and the most versatile of all printing processes.
Screen printing of clothing is now considered primitive compared to the incredible evolution of graphics today. However, despite the huge leap in printing technology, it is still used today, and many business owners and merchants perform many of their actions through this type of printing.
At Pub industrie, we opt for screen printing for its long life, its quality of t-shirt personalization, its cost price which is high only for textile prints that exceed 3 colors.
Generally for personalized t-shirts, sweaters, vests, or printing work uniforms a special ink is used to achieve a finish and a high quality rendering. Often different inks can be used to work with a variety of materials, such as paper, cardboard, plastic, glass, metals, fabrics, nylon and cotton and many other materials.
As a result, screen printing is used for volume objects, or non-flexible media and in many different industries.
Printing
In screen printing, water-based ink or plastisol-based ink have been the most commonly used, each containing special ingredients that would improve drying and adhesion quality when applied. Much of the technical formula has more to do with optimizing each step of the screen printing process, a consideration that has been eliminated today with modern inkjet machines.
